Joint UNICEF/IPEN Evaluation Working Paper on "New trends

Dear colleagues,
I have the pleasure to inform you that the joint
UNICEF/IPEN Evaluation Working Paper on "New trends in development
evaluation" was officially launched at the Annual IPEN Conference
that took place in Tbilisi, Georgia, September 28-30, and later
on distributed at the Joint UKES/EES Conference in London.
The paper contains articles from 11 authors on
new challenges for the evaluation function in light of the Paris
Declaration on Aid Effectiveness, and argues that development
evaluation should be reshaped accordingly. Prefaces by the Presidents
of IDEAS (International Development Evaluations Association) and
IOCE (International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation)
are also included.
